Pineiro’s Kitchen and Cafe was founded by Yesenia De Jesús and Christina Pineiro, in March of 2020, just after they were laid off, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Pineiro’s Kitchen brought comfort during a time that was very uncertain for many people and after two years, they have served over 20,000 different pastelitos.

Their purpose is to bring people together and create a home for those going through uncertain times.

Every pastelito is made with love, passion and recipes that have been passed down for generations.

Pastelitos are more than just a quick bite to eat. They are created to help families create memories that will

last a lifetime.

My name is Lorren Rodriguez, Latina, and mom of 2. I became a mom at the age of 21 and my life changed drasticially. I had to learn the hard way what motherhood looks like and how to move my way through life compassionately.

My firstborn was diagnosed with sensory disorder and ASD at the age of 3. I didn’t know what that meant at the time and blamed myself for years which is something called “mom-guilt” we all feel it at one point in our lives. Through my journey, I decided to change careers and dedicate myself to work with neurodiverse kids and families.

The universe brought me here to create a safe and heart space for the moms that are ready to connect more mindfully with their child and themselves. I decided to call it “Atypical Ladies” because neurodiverse isn’t typical. It’s unique & beautiful…
